Avida’s history started in 1965, with the formation of Freeway Camper Company. Bruce & Ruth Binns introduced the first Freeway slide on camper to Australia. They progressed with the Freeway name producing motorhomes, caravans, fifth wheelers and tent trailers. The Freeway range of motorhomes included brands such as Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth,Wanderer and Chinook. Today Avida’s motorhome range includes Esperance, Longreach, Fremantle, Ceduna, Eyre, Birdsville, Torquay & Leura – more than 70 models in total.
